This role will define and drive social strategy for India, lead campaigns, influencer and community-building initiatives, and independently own and scale YouTube for the India market.</p> <p>The Senior Social Media Manager will partner with the existing social team to ensure seamless execution across platforms.</p> <p>While the primary focus is India, the role will also provide strategic and execution support to MENA during a transition phase, collaborating with regional stakeholders as we evolve our long-term market approach in MENA. </p> <p>This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic thinking and strong executional leadership within a fast-growing entertainment brand.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h4><strong>Strategy Growth Leadership </strong></h4> <ul> <li>Define and own social media strategy aligned to marketing priorities, content launches, and cultural moments.</li> <li>Translate brand and business goals into measurable social growth objectives.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Campaign, Influencer Community Leadership</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Own campaign strategy for the markets, driving brand growth and audience expansion.</li> <li>Lead end-to-end campaign planning, rollout, and performance evaluation.</li> <li>Develop and execute influencer and community-building initiatives to deepen fandom engagement, strengthen brand affinity, and attract new audiences.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>YouTube Strategy Performance</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Own YouTube growth strategy and performance.</li> <li>Develop programming, content pillars, and optimization frameworks.</li> <li>Track KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Performance Insights</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Establish reporting frameworks for social performance</li> <li>Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Partner with global marketing teams to ensure alignment with global brand objectives. </li> <li>Work closely with India marketing to ensure social media is fully integrated into 360° campaigns.</li> <li>Provide interim strategic guidance and alignment for MENA social initiatives.<br><br></li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <ul> <li>8+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably in entertainment, youth culture, or digital-first brands</li> <li>Proven track record in developing and scaling social strategies</li> <li>Strong experience leading influencer and campaign-led growth initiatives</li> <li>Deep understanding of YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms.</li> <li>Strong analytical mindset with experience using social analytics and listening tools.</li> <li>Experience collaborating across markets is a plus.</li> <li>Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.</li> <li>Passion for anime, fandom culture, or entertainment</li> </ul> <h2>Why you will love working at Crunchyroll</h2> <p>In addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks:</p> <ul> <li>Best-in class medical, dental, and vision private insurance healthcare coverage</li> <li>Access to counseling mental health sessions 24/7 through our Employee Assistan ...
