Your leadership will directly enhance the reporting experience and data actionability for storage operators and contribute to our overall business objectives. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in leadership within B2B SaaS, who excels at translating business needs into technical specifications and values a customer-centric approach to data visualization.</p> <h3><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Lead and mentor</strong> a team of BI Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and data integrity.</li> <li><strong>Develop a deep understanding</strong> of self-storage operations and our software ecosystem to ensure customer-facing reports provide high-value, actionable insights.</li> <li><strong>Oversee the end-to-end delivery</strong> of customer reports, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and user adoption.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate closely with Product Owners</strong> to align the BI roadmap with the overall product vision, ensuring data products meet the evolving needs of storage operators.</li> <li><strong>Define and enforce standards</strong> for data governance, validation, visualization, dashboard design, and documentation to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience across all customer-facing reports.</li> <li><strong>Partner with Data Engineering</strong> to ensure the underlying data models and pipelines (Medallion architecture) are optimized for performant, scalable BI delivery.</li> <li><strong>Serve as a bridge</strong> between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex data structures into clear business logic for the analytics team.</li> <li><strong>Refine the analytics backlog</strong>, in conjunction with the Product Owner, prioritizing tasks based on customer impact, technical feasibility, and business value.</li> <li><strong>Conduct design reviews</strong> and QA sessions to ensure all customer-facing data is accurate, reliable, and visually compelling.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Proven experience (5+ years)</strong> in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, with at least 2 years in a formal leadership or management role within an enterprise B2B SaaS environment.</li> <li><strong>Deep expertise in BI tools</strong> (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and a strong portfolio of building external, customer-facing dashboards.</li> <li><strong>Strong technical foundation</strong> in SQL and a deep understanding of modern data stack principles, including S3, Redshift, Snowflake, and Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architectures.</li> <li><strong>Demonstrated ability</strong> to manage a team in a nimble, Agile environment, balancing rapid delivery with long-term technical debt management.</li> <li><strong>Passion for storytelling with data</strong>, with a focus on user empathy and creating intuitive experiences for non-technical business owners.</li> <li><strong>Exceptional communication skills</strong>, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to storage operators and executive leadership alike.</li> <li><strong>Experience in Property Management Software</strong> or the sel ...
