Remote Commercial Counsel We're looking for a commercial counsel to join our legal team and support Framer's continued growth. As Framer’s commercial counsel, you'll be instrumental in enabling our business operations while protecting our interests as we scale globally. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to provide practical legal guidance that drives business outcomes, finding ways to say “yes” rather than defaulting to caution. What you’ll do Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including customer contracts, vendor agreements, partnership deals, NDAs, and licensing arrangements Advise cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing on legal matters arising in their day-to-day work Support compliance efforts across data protection, consumer protection, and commercial regulations, and maintain awareness of relevant regulatory developments Support vendor onboarding, manage external counsel relationships, and assist with product launches and new business initiatives What you’ll bring At least 3 years of legal experience in-house or at a top-tier firm, with strong commercial contracting experience ideally in SaaS or technology Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and emerging tech regulations (AI Act, DSA), plus experience with international agreements across EMEA and the US Strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to translate legal complexity into clear guidance for non-legal stakeholders Experience with US securities law, Delaware corporate law, and cap table matters is a strong plus What we offer At Framer, we’re committed to helping you do your best work.
