Join us.</span></span></p></div><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>May Mobility is a leader in autonomous vehicle (AV) technology and a pioneer in creating more accessible, sustainable communities. We are looking for an <strong>Associate General Counsel</strong> who is passionate about navigating the legal frontiers of the "Green Field"—where technology meets the public road.</p> <p>Reporting directly to our General Counsel and Chief Strategy Officer, you will be a key strategic partner in scaling our operations. You will spend the majority of your time driving complex commercial transactions while providing critical oversight for our people, policy, and intellectual property functions. This is a role for a high-impact legal leader who wants to do more than just manage risk—you will help us build the future of transit.</p> <p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><em>Commercial Strategy Execution</em></p> <ul> <li>Lead the end-to-end drafting, negotiation, and closing of complex commercial contracts including with private and government (US and domestic) counterparties.</li> <li>Architect and manage vehicle platform integration agreements with global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).</li> <li>Negotiate high-value hardware and software supply chain agreements to ensure operational continuity for our fleet.</li> <li>Provide the strategic "connective tissue" between Business Development goals and legal/operational constraints to ensure scalable growth.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a library of standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the sales and procurement lifecycles.</li> </ul> <p><em>Data Privacy Security</em></p> <ul> <li>Design and lead the legal strategy for global data protection and information security compliance.</li> <li>Ensure all autonomous vehicle stacks and passenger-facing applications comply with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging state frameworks.</li> <li>Oversee and negotiate data-sharing agreements with commercial partners and third-party data processors.</li> <li>Partner with Engineering and Product teams to implement "privacy by design" across the entire technology roadmap.</li> <li>Manage legal incident response protocols and provide counsel on cybersecurity risk mitigation and data breach preparedness.</li> </ul> <p><em>Regulatory Public Policy Navigation</em></p> <ul> <li>Support the CSO in drafting and articulating May Mobility’s official positions on emerging AV legislation.</li> <li>Interpret and advise on complex local, state, and federal regulatory frameworks to ensure compliant vehicle deployments.</li> <li>Monitor global regulatory trends to proactively adjust company strategy before new laws take effect.</li> </ul> <p><em>Employment People Partnership</em ...
