Job Description

The Treatment Specialist / Medical Management professional plays a critical role in coordinating and overseeing clients’ medical care in personal injury cases. This role ensures clients receive appropriate treatment, facilitates communication between medical providers and the firm, and supports case strategy by tracking medical progress, bills, and documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has experience in medical care coordination, insurance, or personal injury case management. Insurance experience is a plus. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients’ medical providers, including physicians, therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals. • Monitor and manage clients’ treatment plans to ensure timely, appropriate, and cost-effective care. • Track and document all medical treatments, appointments, bills, and correspondence. • Review and verify medical records, bills, and reports for completeness and accuracy. • Communicate with healthcare providers and internal legal staff regarding treatment authorizations, billing, and progress updates. • Identify potential issues in medical treatment plans and coordinate with attorneys and clients to address them. • Maintain compliance with all legal, medical, and privacy regulations (HIPAA). • Support clients in understanding and navigating their medical care process. • Participate in case strategy meetings as needed to provide medical insight and guidance. • Submit hospital bills to health insurance providers and confirm payments made. Skills: • Experience: • Minimum of 1–3 years in medical case management, treatment coordination, or personal injury support role. • Experience with personal injury law, medical management, or insurance processes is a strong plus. • Skills: • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, treatment protocols, and billing practices. • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills. • Effective verbal and written communication with clients, medical professionals, and legal staff. • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • Proficiency with case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and medical records systems. • Personal Attributes: • Client-focused with strong empathy and professionalism. • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach. • High ethical standards and confidentiality awareness. #SolvoGlobal #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Onsite
