Director of Demand Generation VAPI (/ˈVⱭːPI/): - We’re creating the shift to voice as humanity’s default interface - We’re the most configurable platform for deploying voice agents - We’ve grown to over 600k developers in two years, adding 2,000+ every day - Try talking to Vapi now! https://vapi.ai/ WHY WE’RE HIRING THIS ROLE: - We are entering our next phase of hypergrowth and need a world-class demand generation leader to build a scalable marketing engine. - Revenue acceleration, enterprise pipeline creation, and category leadership in voice AI agents require a strategic and data-driven growth function. - This role will define and execute the vision for the entire marketing funnel while directly influencing aggressive revenue targets. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - 30 Day: - Audit current funnel performance, pipeline sources, CAC efficiency, and attribution models. - Align with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and executive leadership on revenue targets and ICP prioritization. - Assess current ABX motion, marketing automation stack (HubSpot, Salesforce), and campaign performance. - Identify immediate pipeline acceleration opportunities. - 60 Day: - Launch a refined, comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned to revenue expansion goals. - Implement or optimize account-based experience (ABX) programs targeting enterprise accounts. - Build structured marketing dashboards tracking pipeline creation, conversion rates, CAC, ROAS, and LTV. - Begin scaling team structure across digital, content, lifecycle, and events. - 90 Day: - Deliver measurable pipeline growth aligned to quarterly revenue targets. - Execute integrated multi-channel campaigns across paid digital, content, webinars, and industry events. - Operationalize AI-driven GTM workflows (intent signals, enrichment, Clay workflows, campaign automation). - Establish marketing as a predictable, data-driven revenue engine. WHO YOU ARE: - Bay Area-based with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. - 8+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 4 years in senior leadership roles. - Proven success in building and scaling demand generation functions with measurable revenue impact in high-growth environments. - Experience marketing to developer platforms, API-first companies, or technical audiences. - Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders. - Skilled in ABX strategies, marketing automation (HubSpot), CRM systems (Salesforce), and funnel analytics. - Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, attribution modeling, and full-funnel optimization. - Experienced in leveraging AI-driven GTM tooling (intent-based targeting, enrichment, automation workflows). - Proven team builder who develops high-performing, performance-oriented marketing teams.
