Role Summary ALX South Africa is looking for a Learning Community Experience Associate, who will be responsible for creating a supportive, engaging, and high-accountability learning environment for learners enrolled in our Career and Creative Tech programmes. The programmes include Virtual Assistant to Content Creation and Graphic Design. Based at the Johannesburg hub, the associate will play a key role in ensuring learners remain motivated, connected, and on track throughout their learning journey. The role focuses on activating paid learners into the programme and sustaining engagement through mentorship, masterclasses, community learning events, and personalised communication. The success of this role will be measured by the activation rate of paid learners and ensuring learners graduate from their programmes. By combining community building, learner support, and proactive outreach via calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email, the associate will help learners overcome challenges and remain committed to completing their programmes. Specific Responsibilities Learner Activation Onboarding Drive the activation rate of paid learners by ensuring new learners successfully start their programmes. Guide learners through onboarding, helping them understand programme expectations, tools, and milestones. Conduct welcome calls and orientation sessions to ensure learners feel supported from day one. Learner Retention Engagement Increase learner retention through consistent, personalized outreach via calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. Provide encouragement, accountability, and guidance to help learners remain committed to their goals through innovative solutions.
