You will play a key role in shaping the future of UI development, working with cross-functional engineering stakeholders to execute the vision for the frameworks and UI components with which we build our flagship Roblox products.</p> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">Our team’s mission is to build high quality UI components to accelerate the development of features and improve the developer experience for our feature teams in the Roblox App and Roblox Studio, while ensuring accessible and consistent design. We aim to make developing flexible, performant UI, a ✨ delightful ✨ experience. You have a passion for crafting beautiful, accessible, and functional UI foundations that delight our users. This role will involve cross-functional collaboration and communication with other teams and our own designers and engineers.</p> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong>You Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong> </strong>4+ years of professional software development experience.</li> <li>Strong understanding of design principles and best practices.</li> <li>Experience with frontend technologies and component-based UI frameworks (e.g., React).</li> <li>Experience with accessible design and development, a plus if that includes WCAG guidelines.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills - this role requires a lot of cross-org collaboration and support of other internal customers.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces.</li> <li>Experience working with or contributing to a design system is a major plus.</li> <li>A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Help drive systematic changes for how we build UI</li> <li>Partner with feature developers to ship gold standard UI implementations</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products.</li> <li>Partner closely with designers to translate design concepts into functional, high-quality Luau code.</li> <li>Develop and maintain accessible UI components and patterns, ensuring compliance with relevant WCAG guidelines.</li> <li>Develop new features and enhancements to our component library and associated tooling.</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date on the latest software development trends and technologies, particularly those relevant to frontend development and component-based UI frameworks.</li> <li>Implement UI components with a focus on accessibility, ensuring our app is usable by everyone.</li> </ul> <div class="allowList MuiBox-root css-o5mcg2" data-testid="richTextReadOnlyContainer"> <div class=" ...
