<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The role</h3>
<p>We’re looking for a dynamic <strong>Sales Manager – Business Development</strong> to join our Sales Partnerships AU Team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving high-performance execution across the Internal BDM team, strengthening the capability of the broader sales organisation, and elevating partner experiences through effective sales enablement and structured engagement.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What you'll be doing</h3>
<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Lead and Coach:</strong> Mentor and develop internal BDMs to achieve KPIs while amplifying Prospa’s unique value proposition in the market.</li>
<li><strong>Execution</strong> of AU Sales and Partnerships yearly plan by developing and implementing a strategic plan to grow partnerships, influence market participants and deliver territory sales volume. </li>
<li><strong>Manage</strong> portfolio partner relationships across the internal BDM portfolio and implement a strategic action plan ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership. </li>
<li><strong>Lead</strong> by example across the Sales and Partnerships team, providing coaching and development to internal BDM’s, ensuring that the targets and individual KPIs are met. </li>
<li>Co-ordinate our channel engagement plan related to industry events while positioning Prospa as a leader in the SME market. </li>
<li>Management and reporting of data analytics to drive strategic and tactical decisions. </li>
<li>Influence internal stakeholders across departments (Product, Credit Policy, Sales Ops, Marketing) to ensure alignment with our channel. </li>
<li><strong>Expand</strong> and position the Prospa brand across the finance industry in Australia. </li>

<li><strong>Experience:</strong>

<li><strong>Proven Leadership:</strong> Ability to coach and inspire teams to exceed targets and foster a high-performance culture.</li>
<li><strong>Sales Expertise:</strong> Track record of implementing structured sales processes with strong results.</li>
<li><strong>Business Acumen:</strong> Deep understanding of SME market motivators and channel structures.</li>
<li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Skilled at influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional initiatives.</li>
<li><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong> High emotional intelligence, strong communication, adaptability, and integrity.</li>
</ul>

<li><strong>Knowledge of:</strong>

<li>Australian SME market and financial services landscape.</li>
<li>Channel structures and partner engagement strategies.</li>
<li>Leading teams remotely and managing complex stakeholder relationships</li>
